Fantasy Baseball 2006 Team: How does it look in 2007?
I would rank your team a 7 or 8

You have ok outfielders in Beltran, Berkman, Blake, Dye, Guerrero, Ichiro and Matthews Jr.

Your infielders are decent with Giambi, Hall, Jones, Ramirez, Roberts, Rolen, Sanchez, and Tejeda.

Your Catcher Ivan Rodriguez is ok but he is getting old.

Your Starters are not that good Mark Buehrle sucks, Chris Capuano is decent but he may have a bad year this year, Derek Lowe is old and fading, Francisco Liriano might be out for this whole season, Kenny Rogers is old and he may pitch dirty with some substance on his hand like he did in the World Series that will get him in trouble, Justin Verlander is a pretty good pitcher but he may be a little shaky because he is young, Chien-Ming Wang is a good pitcher too but he is on the Yankees and they already have enough pitchers with Carl Pavano, Mike Mussina, Andy Pettite and so on, Jered Weaver is a good pitcher but he is young and I don't think he is going to do good this year he may go 10 and 11 or something, Brandon Webb he is your only great pitcher he is a stud but who knows because sometimes Cy Young Awards get to your head.

Your closers Trevor Hoffman and Todd Jones are ok but they are old you should get someone young like Chad Cordero, Bobby Jenks, JJ Putz, Francisco Rodriguez or Huston Street!
Reply:It's an awesome team but Liriano's surgery really screwed your pitching situation... Trade one of your stud OFs for a stud pitcher and you're got a top 3 team in a 10 team league. Another closer would help a lot too.
Reply:Your O is pretty solid assuming you start C,1,2,3,S,MI,CI,5 OF, U

C Irod

1 Berkman

2 Sanchez

S Tejada

3 Chipper

MI Hanley

CI Rolen

O Beltran, Dye, Ichrio, Vlad, Jr

U Giambi

Nice balance of Power, speed, and Avg. but I feel Matthews was a 1 year wonder and Blakes PT will fall this year

Pitching is a little thin Buehrle will have a big year (contract year) and I love Weaver and Webb is solid.

The kid Liriano is out and your closers are iffy.

After that the rest of the names are HUGE question marks

I would package some of your depth at the infield for a solid #2 starter and you will be fine
Reply:Liriano is out for the year, keep him only in a keeper league. Your position players mash, pitchers are a little shaky.
Reply:i do like the pitching; except, i think, liriano will be out this season; i'm not sure about that though. I don't know if you should add someone who can steal a ton of bases as opposed to having a lot of great batters. finally, the catcher spot and OF depth is a little weak. (after dye, beltran, dye if you use berkman as 1b).

i could be wrong about this, but that's what i'm thinking.
