What should I do with this kind of team in my Fantasy Baseball League?
try and trade jenks and turnbow (or drop them) and pick up some starting pitching. you can easily win leagues with no saves but youre pitching needs improvement. look for guys who are starters but also qualify at rp.

your hitting is solid but fact AP isn't hitting..please drop hill..he's junk and try and find someone else who can help. same is said for beltre. those two are killing you

here's a rule of thumb. carry as little BENCH POSITION PLAYERS AS POSSIBLE..at the very least only carry 1 at the most 2 and load up on PITCHING.

i don't care what funston and them fools say

theriot has no place on a fantasy team..and why are you caryying uribe AND granderson.

your team needs lots of help and you need to hit that waiver wire. if there's anything left. you won't get much in trades cuz i'll tell you right now people will try to rip you off of the best players you have.

below are links to two of my teams. slightly different from each other and they should give you an idea what you should be after. and no these aren't the only ones i have.in every league i'm in i'm in the top 2. and half of them are winner leagues.
Reply:i would fat albert out there and see if you can get a big bat traded for his big name
Reply:I agree with the last comment. I mean it's great to have the number one man in baseball but one man can't carry your team. It's decent. I wouldn't say that your team sucks completely but you do need a big bat. I would try to trade some other players first before you get rid of Pujols though. That is like the LAST possible option if you ask me. You have some good players though...Abreu, Green, Granderson....not bad..see what you can trade up for though. Pujols isn't going to carry the team.
Reply:man the type of lineup you have is fine is well balanced you just need some help on your pitching staff and try to trade beltre cuz he has not been really nice up to this point.
Reply:depending on the other teams u should win!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!
Reply:Well, Abreu, Pujols and Young are just in slumps and should come out of it going by their past. Your squad really doesn't look that bad if everyone plays to their potential. Depending on how much emphasis your league has on pitching stats you may want to pick up another closer and starter.

Try trading Victorino and or Green while they are hot to get a solid number 2 starter.

I'd drop Turnbow unless your league has "holds". He isn't their closer anymore and only will move into that spot if Cordero gets hurt. Accardo from Toronto may be available to you.

I'd hold onto Young, he always hits well. Try trading Uribe or package Uribe with one of the OF's I said in a trade to get some stronger pitching. Your staff isn't bad, you just don't have very many guys.

You may have just been playing teams that have had good weeks when you haven't been having them. Once those three I mentioned earlier begin to hit, I don't see why you shouldn't improve quickly.
Reply:There's not much you can do in head-to-head but let them go.

Keep your eyes on the waiver wire and pick up any hot starters that may have been or is being over looked.
Reply:its all about luck

get bonds
Reply:It's been said before, but you desperately need pitching. In a H2H league, you need pitchers to rotate in, not a long bench of hitters. You need them to accumulate wins and Ks. Another closer wouldn't hurt. Dump Turnbow entirely.

Your best trade bait you need to keep. Guys like Uribe are worthless on the trade market except maybe in a package. Just cut him loose and pick up the best pitcher available on the wire. Bundle two players in a trade to make room for another pitcher, or decide who you can let go for another spot.

Watch out for closer changes due to ineffectiveness or injury, and you will be able to get one for free at some point, but in the meantime, pick up another starter.

Find another third baseman. Beltre had one really good season his entire career, and that isn't likely to change. Most years, like this one, he is a total dud. There is almost certainly someone better available, or try to get someone decent with one of the OF.

However, no matter what else, getting more pitching is paramount.
