What you think about this trade?

I'm thinking about trading JJ. Hardy and CC Sabathia for Hanley Ramirez... My pitching staff is pretty sick as it is (Dice-K and Zambrano) so I could afford to lose CC (Although it would hurt, yes)...

Reply:Dude, I have to be honest with you; Your team is sick without Ramirez. 4 closers, 3 starters that are off the hook, and a lineup that with the exception of Andruw Jones(who can get hot anytime now) can rip the cover off the ball? I wouldn't do it. Don't trade your closers, either. Make someone come to you with an offer, weigh the options, and then decide.

Reply:I would DEFINITELY wait and see how this recent hamstring issue of Hanley's works out first. he's only had one at bat the last 2 games.





As for the trade, i wouldn't deal CC. he is a beast and he is going to stay a beast. your starting staff is decent at best without him. I'd try and move Dice K and Hardy for Hanley if the dude will take it. DiceK is wildly overvalued because of the name anyways. But i love the idea of selling JJ now.
Reply:I would say do it. You're selling Hardy high in return for an elite shortstop in Ramirez. However, you are giving up Sabathia who is also an elite pitcher. With the roster spot you free up in the trade, pick up a solid SP. Recommendations: Joe Blanton, Dustin McGowan, Tim Lincecum. Or, try trading one of your four closers for a No. 2/3 SP.
Reply:H. Ramirez is the #1 player in the fantasy league right now...However I like your lineup and dont think you need the trade.
Reply:I would say yes, do it. Your lineup needs the power and BA Hanley will bring. But be ready to dump some dead weight like Sosa or Duncan for a solid SP off of the wire. There has to be a couple of decent SP's lurking out there somewhere. Try to move Andruw Jones for a warm body as well!!
Reply:Your Pitching isnt bad, but its not Sick. I dont realy like doing 2 for 1 deals, unless one of the people you trading are on the bench.





Why in the world is Chipper Jones on the bench? That isn't helping you, he should be starting right now.
